It has been such a long time since I even checked out my own website leave alone updating it that I cant even remember, so today when one of my friend messaged me on my blackberry asking why I haven't updated the site it made me think someone actually takes the time off and looks it up so the least I can do is update it.

So what was I upto?? -- Well nothing actually I just didn't feel like updating it even though I had so much to say plus I was kinda planning my next short film bouncing ideas in various movie forums so lets see where I go with that and yeah I recently ordered the "Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown from Amazon and I hope its worth the money and time.

So yeah I have managed to fill in most of the information plus created a whole new "Short Films" section and organized a bunch of stuff on the site, I still have to update one of the movie section though which I will after this post but I wanted to thank him for reminding me to do it...

A shot at Video Blogging....

So for the past weeks I have been ticking around with my new Mac book right and I wanted to do something real fun and creative which got me started on Final Cut Pro 7.Its a video editing software by apple and its really cool, I mean the things you can do in that are truly awesome!

Anyways long story short, I always thought video blogging was fun and really interesting, I mean you can just have a look at 'you tube' and see how many people are doing it and doing it so well and some of the videos are hilarious! So I decided to put my new machine and the software to the test and made a small video just to see if I am any good at it and I guess it has come out alright.... Its pretty basic nothing fancy but it was lots of fun and at some points a tiny bit frustrating but at the end I think it was time well spent coz I am really happy with what I have done.

I would be uploading the video pretty soon as it has some minor editing work to be done.. watch this space for more!!

Alright then this feels so good, I recently purchased a Macbook Pro and finally moved over from a PC and I must say this is the best technology decision I have ever made!!

The Mac is by far a much better computing machine than a PC and a whole lot faster and stable than Windows when you compare the operating systems. The user interface is very cool and young but does take time getting use to after more than a decade of windows usage but I can getting der. I have the new OS released by apple and its called 'Snow Leopard' and trust me I have never seen a machine shut down so fast, I mean it takes like 5 seconds to shut down and I guess it restarts like it 30-45 seconds or something, I hope it stays that way coz its still new and I don't really have a lot of stuff on it.

The main reason I got a Macbook was for video editing that I do and also apple has one of the best software's in the market for that and its called Final Cut Pro and its simply awesome, earlier on Windows I was using Corel Video Studio 12 which is good but not as professional as FCP7 and also the graphics card on Mac and the pixel resolution is mind-blowing!

There are a lot of tricks I still have to learn so if you have some feel free to share them with me :-)

I know I should have written this earlier but somehow I really never got around updating my blog.. but hey I am here now, so its been almost a month since I am back from my vacation to India and its was quite good, the trip was super fantastic I mean Akhil's wedding was really good but Delhi was HOT.. I took like a million pics and if you are my friend on facebook you know what I am talking about :-), the next trip should be more or less around the month of December for New Years lets see how that one goes but its kinda far away now anyways.

Work has been good and so is the alcohol and the night life in Dubai, I did buy an ipod (16GB) this week and its the most awesome gadget ever which means I can listen to what I want when I work out at the gym which is so cool coz my gym plays some really sorry music honestly. I have also jailbroken my ipod so that I can install 3rd party apps on it!!.

The only bad thing about Dubai as of now is the weather.. its so bloody hot and so humid I mean you cant walk for 10 minutes without sweating geeezhh its bad and next month is also gona be more or less the same. As for interesting stuff to be honest I really don't have much.. lets see ummmm nahhh non what so ever which kinda makes me think that my life is getting monotonous which isnt that good and really disturbing and to top it all up the last few movies that I have seen have been a complete waste of my money!!

Delhi here I come!!

A quick update --> Finally landed safely at Hyderabad yesterday without my plane crashing or going off the air traffic radar :-). The weather in Hyderabad is alright its kinda hot but not as much as Dubai of course but it tends to get sticky but its not that bad.

Right now I am at the airport again only this time I am flying to Delhi where I know the weather is gona suck big time but looking on the bright side I get to see all my friends and get the attend a wedding, what more can I ask for ohh yea and I hear Delhi girls are real hot so all in all should be a fun trip! On a separate note I really like the Hyderabad airport its calm and very efficient plus you get to use an internet kiosk machine which I am on right now for free which is an awesome time killer! I just hope my flight is on time without any delays I am flying spice jet (Flight SG226,Seat No: 16A) which is due for departure at 10:25am so until next time have fun and dont get dead...

Vacation time!!

My first vacation of this year from work and it feels real good, I am off to Hyderabad and then to Delhi for a couple of days for a wedding of a very good friend. This is also the first time I will be at a friend's wedding and it feels so odd.. I mean are we that old now that we have to get married!!

Anyways I am super excited about the trip coz I get to see my family and friends and have a rocking time, I just hope that Delhi isn't too hot but I think it will so what the heck! Also this time around I am taking my camera along with me so I am gona take heaps of pictures and ohh by the way did I mention that I broke my earlier camera "Cannon IXUS 90" and instead got a new one "Cannon IXUS 100" which is fliipin awesome man!

So all in all I just hope the trip goes fine and I am back with loads of fine memories...

Lost in the Atlantic...

I am sure you guys must have been following this story about an Air France flight AF 447 which crashed in the Atlantic on its way to Paris from Rio De Janeiro and the reason I was taken aback was because a few months back I was on the very same flight going to Paris from Brazil!! What are the chances??

The plane was only like 4 years old and should have been in good condition its really scary to think how a plane can go off the radar and no one can find it, I am sure this is not the first time that this has happened but every time it does the news is always bad. They say most of the people on board were Brazilians, I hope they find the plane and hopefully they are some survivors but I think we all know that its not going to happen and sadly everyone on board are gone....

I know its been a while since I have updated my blog but I just didn't have anything to talk about. My life has gone into a monotonous routine off late which sucks... other than the T20 cricket match I went for between Australia and Pakistan at the sports city stadium here in dubai.

It was fun but since I didn't quite have the best seats in the stadium it wasn't mind-blowing and also the match was alright and wasn't close enough but I got to see 2 of the fastest bowlers in world cricket at the moment which was cool. I haven't seen any movies too coz of the current on-going strike between the multiplexes and the producers in our Indian movie industry but what I am really looking forward to is my trip to Hyderabad next month and then to Delhi for a friend's wedding which I think should be super fun!

Ohhh yeah almost forget I finally joined "Fitness First" back coz its simply the best gym in dubai and I was an idiot to leave it in the first place but I am back to being happy again!!

Finally the voting has began in India to elect a new government and how I wish I could vote, to be honest I have never voted for any government in the past which now I so regret and YES my vote could have made a difference and that is what I have come to believe.

Now that I am not in India the feeling of not being able to cast my birth right isn't a good feeling and most of my friends back home have or are going to vote which I think is the way right way forward for our country and most importantly the right way for all of US!!

Please go and vote and get that mark on your finger!!

Lost and Found!!

Phewww...I thought I had lost my camera but I guess not this time, last week one of my team-mates was going back to UK so I got my camera to office just to click a few going away pictures...

Got the camera back to my desk after the little gathering and uploaded the pics on my laptop and after that I don't remember what happened but when I came back home that night and was about to hit a club...I thought why dont I take my camera along so that I can capture some nite life and the fun I was gona have but to my disappointment I could not find the camera in my bag and I thought I had lost it but coming to think of it I had a strong feeling that I had mis-placed it in the office coz that was the last time I saw it.

So at 10pm I went rushing back to my office to search for it but i couldn't find it!! So I was like I have to buy a new camera and spend that money again.... I went back home in disappointment and did not enjoy my nite out coz it wasn't pretty and the club scene was sad.. so all in all a sad night!

Sunday morning I reach office which is today by the way and searched a little more but with no luck as usual.. I gave up but after like 15 minutes I searched again and this time a bit detailed and I finally saw a black case under my desk near a white card-board box with my old shoes... I wonder how it got there but I was super happy I saw that and I had found my camera!!! Also I saved spending AED 1100 all over again!!
