Iron Man 2 ---> Movie Review

This is possibly the most anticipated sequel this season and I was really excited when I purchased the ticket for this one. So is it better than the first part? Is it bigger? More Exciting?? and my answer is mostly YES to all the questions.

Also in this part the villain has a more intense role played by Mickey Rourke who I thought was fantastic and perfect for the role and he even did a good job with the Russian accent. I am sure the director had a pretty tough time making this flick because of all the expectations from the first part and he did a good job.

Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man aces again and is in complete sync with his character and he seems to be having a dream run at the box office as his earlier movie in which he played Sherlock Holmes was well received too and just for the record I liked Sherlock Holmes better than Iron Man but having said that it doesn't take anything away from the sheer explosiveness of 'Iron Man 2'. Also Scarlett Johansson is so hot and bloody gorgeous even though she has got nothing to do in the flick.

So in my opinion if you liked the first part you will love the second even more!!

Date Night ---> Movie Review

The last Steve Carell movie that I had seen was 'Get Smart' and I thought he was absolutely hilarious in  that one but I think with 'Date Night' he has topped that one by miles! This flick is a complete laugh riot and one of the better comedy flicks to come out this season. The story is just good enough to hold your attention so that the lead actors can deliver on what is required from a comedy flick which is loads and loads of rib tickling humour.

The comic timing between the lead actors is also very good and Tina Fey compliments Steve at every point during the movie, also Mark Wahlberg's character is so funny and hilarious. If you go in with a relaxed mind without over expectations trust me you will be blown away!!

So I suggest make a 'date' with Date Night and you wont regret it!

Texas chainsaw massacre (1974) ---> Movie Review

Alright now I know what you guys might be thinking "What made him see such an old flick".. well I was conned into watching this one to say the least by one of my friends who told me that it was the scariest movie she had ever seen and also very gory. So I figured I had to watch this one and so I did and I wasn't completely bored to be really polite.

I wasnt scared though and the gore was alright but the constant screaming by one of the female characters was just so bloody annoying it was like all she was hired to do was scream! and plus the screenplay didnt quite make any sense to me at times but I figured thats how movies were made back then I guess.

So yeah the movie was alright or might be a little lower than alright in my opinion, if only the screaming was a little less and the storyline was more engaging I might have liked it..

Dark Floors ---> Movie Review

I decided to watch this movie only because on the poster it had said "From the makers of the Grudge" and it was suppose to be a horror movie but after watching it I can safely say that it is ANYTHING but that!! Its the most pathetic and horrible attempt to ever make a horror movie, it has no story the performances are as shitty as the storyline and the horror element is almost non-existent.

All I can say is "I want my money back!" ...Dont even think of watching  this movie not even online or on a DVD, its just a complete waste of time and effort!

Green Zone ---> Movie Review

 This has to be one of the best movies made on the war in Iraq, it has almost everything that people want to see in a action/thriller genre and the combination of Matt Damon and Paul D (Incidentally he is the same director who made the "Bourne" series!) is awesome!

The story seems very real and you can instantly relate to it and the fact that this movie actually takes sides and exposes the mind-set of the US Govt and the reasons they went to war with Iraq, now I know its all "fiction" but you cant help wonder if the story could actually be true which in my opinion is where this storyline and script comes up trumps!!

In case you have read my review on the 'Hurt Locker' below and the fact that I felt it didn't have a storyline...trust me this one is a complete opposite with an awesome storyline and performances and plus I think Matt Damon is a fine actor so I might be a little partial but that doesn't take away from the movie in any which way!
