Inglorious Basterds ---> Movie Review

Mr. Tarantino is a bloody genius and right from the first scene where Col. Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz) sits down drinks the farmer's milk and gets him to confess that he is indeed hiding the French and then shoots them down is simply great direction and wonderful acting. The movie then takes its own shape and the various characters are introduced in due time and their relevant back stories.

What I liked about the whole concept was that this was completely fictional something Tarantino thought of and made it into a movie because we have seen way too many movies about how the assassination of Hilter was planned why they failed or some about how he died blah blah.. we know our history and we all know how Hitler died so this was a refreshing change to the history books, but I should mention this that the movie was a drag at some points due to its elaborate scenes and heavy lines the director should have tried to be a little more crisp and direct.

As for the performances I went expecting Brad Pitt all over the screen and hogging all the screen time but I was pleasantly surprised to see that wasn't the case and all the actors got their due especially Christopher Waltz, he was simply outstanding in the movie and even Brad played his part really well of course. Diane Kruger didn't quite have much to do sadly coz I find her really hot!! and Melanie Laurent was very good and looked smashing!!

I guess most of the credit does go to Tarantino for making such a bold flick and executing it so well only complain that next time maybe he could trim the running time a bit :-)

Transformers 2 ---> Movie Review

I loved the first part like everyone else around the world it was mind blowing and the entire idea of cars and machines turning into robots was so much fun to see, so when Transformers 2 came out I was super excited and could not wait to buy that ticket but sadly this one is no where close to the first part.

For starters its way too long and the storyline is soooo dragging that after a point you just want it all to end, I am really disappointed how they made this one all they did was put in loads of CGI action which made little and sometimes no sense at all. The story is not at all as engaging or entertaining as one would expect from a movie of this genre and from a director like Michael Bay. They have put in so many new robots that sometimes you get confused as to who you are actually watching especially with the decepticons as all of them are in silver atleast the autobots have colors on them...

So all in all a very dissapointing watch and a complete turn around from the first part hope the 3rd installment if they ever make it is good and no where close to what this one actually is.

Megan Fox is super HOT!!!

X-Men Origins Wolverine --> Movie Review

I have always been a huge fan of the X-men movies and enjoy watching movies of this genre and I can say the same for this one, its an awesome movie with loads of action put it but with a good storyline its not just plain action without it making any sense. Its very well shot and the thought process behind it as this was a prequel to the X-men series is very good and keeps you engaged all throughout.

Hugh Jack as the famous wolverine is just mind blowing he acts well and looks totally ripped and in some scene is does look in human!! he has definitely put in a lot of time and hard work and it shows when you see him on screen. There are also some new and interesting characters in the movie who blend in quite good without boring you. So if you want to see some quality action executed and shot intelligently go for this one and you wont be disappointed! All I wish for is that hope they come out with a new X-men movie soon so that I can go back watch it all over again!!

Terminator Salvation ---> Movie Review

They are back and how!! the movie kicks ass and its a wonderful watch, I wasn't expecting a whole lot from this one simply because when I saw the trailers I got the feeling that it has too much action and no storyline but I was completely wrong and also considering I didn't not like the last part and found it to be just alright but this one more than makes up for it.

Christain Bale as John Connor is very good and does he nice job but whatz up with that husky voice he has in the movie I couldn't quite get that but anyways it does not really matter because the emphasis is on the storyline which is the real hero. I bet we will see another part of the terminator series coming soon because like always the ending was open which gives us hope to love the franchise!

So if you have any doubts about this movie wipe it away and go and enjoy 2 hours of wholesome action and machines gone all bad!

Star Trek ---> Movie Review

This is the first Star Trek movie I have ever watched I did catch some of the series which use to air on television back in the time but honestly wasn't a great fan of it and I don't even know how many movies have released based on the series but anyways that doesn't really matter to me what matters is this movie absolutely ROCKS!!

I really like sci-fi flicks and enjoy the storyline if its engaging enough and let me tell you this one is all that I wanted to see and more, now I want to see the older movies just to compare if they were as slick as compared to this one.. The storyline is very good and the plot and the screen-play goes on pretty smoothly without giving you any moments of boredom.

There are so many characters in this one but the one that stands out is the one played by Chris Pine called James T Kirk and I found the female character played by Zoe Saldana pretty or maybe VERY hot!! I say if you are a fan of this genre and even though you haven't seen any of the earlier parts or did not even watch the TV series it doesn't matter just go for this one and get lost in space!!

He's just not that into you ---> Movie Review

This is the perfect example of a movie to which you can take your date and then later on discuss about it and then strike a good chord with her..its a very well thought and executed flick with wonderful performances from the entire cast. The main reason why this movie works is because of the individual stories it has to say and how it affects them as individuals.

There are heaps of stars in this movie from Jennifer Aniston to Scarlet Johansson who is super hot by the way! Drew Barrymore and Ben Affleck to name a few but the good thing is that no one star hogs the limelight but plays along with the story which is why its a joy to watch this one, If you ask me personally I could completely relate to the character played by Ben but I really enjoyed watching Ginnefer Goodwin play her part of a girl desperately seeking "THE ONE".

Its basically about how people get into relationships and how some of them want out.. what goes on when a girl meets a guy and what do guys mean when they say "It was really nice meeting you or I really had a good time" then don't call you back ever!!

Its all about in-securities couples have in their relationships and how they deal with them in order to make the relationship work so if you want a light hearted storyline which you can relate to and have that feel good factor I suggest you go ahead and buy a ticket for this one pronto!!

PS: Just one point I would like to make is that the movie could or should have been a little shorter by about 15 minutes or so coz at the end it does seem like the director just keeps dragging the situations...

Taken ---> Movie Review

I have been wanting to see this flick for a very long time and last night I finally managed to see it but on DVD not in cinema, I think i missed this one while it was showing in the cinema which is so sad but anyways this movie is awesome and even on dvd I loved it a lot!

Its about how a father played by Liam Neeson goes on a trail to rescue his kidnapped daughter from a bunch of Albanian guys for the purpose of human trafficking while she was on a holiday in Paris. Its a very well made movie with a gripping screenplay which keeps you glued to the monitor and even though I haven't seen heaps of movies by Liam Neeson I thought he is a very fine actor and suited the character.

I really like movie of this genre so I was glad the movie was as good as I had expected it to be so all in all a good watch and pleae try and watch this in the cinema if you can coz u will like it even more!!

The Midnight Meat Train ---> Movie Review

This movie has nothing but gore and blood spilling all over the movie screen its a bloody slaughter-feast!! It was such a waste of time more so because you start to feel very un-comfortable after a while because of what is happening on the screen.

Its about how a New-York photographer who tracks down a serial killer all by himself without the help.. yeah go figure, even writing about this movie gives me a headache coz I have to remember what I saw on screen and honestly I find that very disturbing so my last words.

DON'T WATCH THIS ONE!!

Un-Born ---> Movie Review

I really love to watch horror flicks for me it is the best genre of movie making but then movies like this totally disappoint me!! Its so stupid and the acting is horrible to say the least its a complete waste of hard earned money and time and it just goes to show that even Hollywood movie makers make heaps of senseless movies its just that we are not exposed to it!

Its was suppose to be this super horror flick but sadly it has gone all wrong for the director and the actors, I say even if you have nothing to do and are absolutely bored still Don't watch this stupid mmovie coz its just a whole lot of bull-shit.

Yes Man ---> Movie Review

I cant even remember the last Jim Carrey movie I had seen so I went into this one with no great expectations as I am not a big fan the actor. It started off a little monotonous but as it went along it was quite a enjoyable flick, I mean its not a laugh riot or something but definitely worth a watch to catch up on a few laughs as you go along but I must say that he looks kinda old now I think age is finally catching up to him as you can clearly see it on his face!!

The movie has a good message in it which is to embrace life and live it to the fullest instead of just living it as a job and also Jim with his acting made it a decent watch so if you want to go and relax at the cinemas without having to think too much I recommend you go and catch this one and you wont be disappointed!.
