Rocket Singh - Salesman of the year -Movie Review

I didn't quite like the last movie he did which was "Ajab Prem ki..", thought it was a bit silly and monotonous but having said that I really like this one.It was simple and neat but the "hero" element was clearly missing from the plot, I mean it has a very nice storyline but somewhere I felt Ranbir's character should have been a little more bold if you ask me he was made to look very simple.

The story and the screenplay was very good and I quite enjoyed myself throughout barring a few scenes where I thought the story was a drag and even the romantic angle didn't quite work for me but the rest of  the supporting cast sure made up for that and to be honest this was a movie about characters and their beliefs rather than being just another hindi film hero movie which was a refreshing change. Shimit Amin as the director and Jaideep Sahani as the storyteller make a very good combo but as I said before if they had bought in a little bit of heroism in Ranbir's character it would have been so much fun.

As for the performance Ranbir sure did a fantastic job and was very convincing as the sardar and the entire Sikh getup suited him pretty well, I dont quite know the names of the primary supporti cast expect Gauhar Khan but let me say they all did a very good job and made this movie fun to watch.

So if you like good story-telling and good acting make sure you watch this one!
