Being ... ALI HASSAN

Ok first things first this is not a disaster movie its a story about love and relationships more than anything else, I know the whole backdrop is of the Mumbai floods and all but that only comes into the picture at the interval and trust me its not as big of a deal as you may think it would be. The essence of this movie is in the love story of these two characters played by Emran and Soha and how they deal with life once they are together.

I personally thought that the first half was quite good and it just went well but the second half should have been a lot shorter, it has too many flashbacks highlighting everything which kinda gets to you, it can easily be 15 minutes shorter at the most. The story is nothing great I mean the director just focuses what happens once the couple start living together and how they go about in their daily life and what sacrifices they end up making for each other. The movie is not a bore and at times quite engaging but again I have to come back to the time factor which is a killer if we ask me!

The music is quite good with 'Tum Mile' being the highlight and Emraan and Soha look very natural and good actors and I think Soha Ali is quite cute :-). So all in all a timepass movie a little dragging but alright not too bad, I liked it...
